Sharmila Tagore was born on the 8th of December in 1944 in Hyderabad. In 2005, Sharmila Tagore made her acting debut with famed director Satyajit Ray in 1959 in the Bengali Movie Apur Sansar. She married the Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who was also the captain of the Indian cricket team. She is the mother of notable actors Saif and Soha Ali Khan.T

Tongues on Fire will welcome veteran of Indian cinema, Sharmila Tagore, to celebrate the actress’ 60 years on the silver screen. The free, outdoor screenings from deck chair seating in Arena Square, set against the dramatic backdrop of The SSE Arena, Wembley.
Taking place on Sunday 7th July, 2.30pm, Tongues on Fire will welcome actress Tagore, director Sangeeta Datta and other cast and crew members to present the screening.
